Module 1: Work organization and environment (3hrs)
Health and safety ,Personal protective equipment,Principle of work flow and measurement

Practice: 5S In work space
Module 2: Types of House wiring and fault repair in house wiring. (6hrs)
Develop circuit and wiring diagram and electrical sign ages, code specifications to plan wiring layouts, consumption points. Use various types of tools, their functions and application for carrying out work.
Practice - Understand rating and current carrying capacity of wires, cables, fuse, switches, sockets, MCBs, ELCBs and other electrical accessories
Module 3: Planning and Design (6hrs)
The individual needs to know and understand different types of standards, drawings, installation descriptions and manuals,Range of materials and installation techniques to be used in different
Environments.
Practice: Read, interpret and revise drawings and documentation including:

Practice: Follow written instructions
Practice: Plan installation work using drawings and documentation provided
Project -Phase 1 (10hrs)
Customer Requirement, Bill of Materials (BoM), purchase order (PO) and Procurement
Module 4: Installation (9 hrs)
Ducting and wiring systems for commercial, domestic, residential agricultural and industrial use and when and where to use a specific ducting and/or wiring systemThe range of electrical switchboards used for commercial, domestic,residential, agricultural and industrial uses and when and where to use a specific switchboard system
Practice: designing of wire duct
Practice: routing and harnessing of the wire
Practice: mounting of the channel according to the given GA
Practice: correct termination of the point according to the given GA
Practice: PVC casing capping angle cutting
Practice: Correct termination adaptors used for entry of conduits into boxes,
boards and ducts
Module 5: Testing ,Reporting and Commissioning (3hrs)
Verification standards, methods and reports to be used to record verification results,Types of measuring instruments,Tools and software used for parameterization, programming and commissioning. The correct operation of the electrical installation in accordance with the
planned specification and customer requirements
Practice: Test installations before energizing to ensure personal and electrical
safety to include: insulation resistance and earth continuity tests, correct
polarity .
Practice: Test installations when energized by checking complete function on all
equipment installed to ensure correct operation of new installation as
per instructions.
Practice: Testing the straightness of the wire duct and casing and capping with sprit level.
Project- Phase 2(13hrs)
Installation of the complete house wiring with the given load and Drawing provided by trainer.
Module 6: Maintenance,fault finding and repair (12hrs)
Types of installations for specific environments, Different generations of installations and the purpose of a specific installation and troubleshooting
Practice: Troubleshoot electrical installations and identify faults including: short
and open circuits, incorrect polarity, insulation resistance and earth
continuity faults, incorrect settings on equipment and incorrect program
on programmable devices
Practice: Diagnose electrical installations and identify problems including: bad
connections, incorrect wiring, high loop impedance and equipment
failure
Practice: Verify that an existing electrical installation still meets current standards
Project - Phase 3(3hrs)
Installation of the complete house wiring with the given load and Drawing provided.
(5 fault will be generated by the trainer which the trainee has to troubleshoot in the given time)
List of Projects (all project is to be done by group of students. Maximum group size is 4)
