  • be able to design small objects for laser cutting

Module I

Introduction to Laser. Laser Applications. Laser cutting. Tools used for laser cutting.

Practice 1: Introduction to various laser cutting machines - virtual

Module II

Introduction to Design thinking, stages of design thinking process – empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test, applying design thinking to products.

Practice 2: A case study for design thinking – product oriented

Module III

Learning CorelDraw: exploring the CorelDraw screen, basics of coral draw

Practice 3: Setting Up the Page, Inserting and Deleting Pages, Using Multiple Workspaces, Customizing the Toolbars

Module IV

Drawing and modifying objects, drawing and using tools, drawing and using shapes

Practice 4: Drawing and Shaping Objects, Drawing and Shaping Tools, Using the Freehand Tool

Practice 5: Drawing Shapes, Drawing, Reshaping Curves and shapes

Module V

Working with objects in CorelDraw

Practice 6: Moving, Copying and Deleting Sizing Objects

Practice 7: Transforming Objects, Modifying details of objects, Aligning Objects, Combining and Breaking Objects, Welding Objects
