Livestock Production Science
ABC01(3-1-0)
Objective
To acquaint with inherent nutritional quality of feed ingredients and feeds. Evaluation of feeds and fodders and feed preservation techniques. Procurement and storage of feed ingredients. Losses during storage and its control.
Students must be able to:
1. Understand the scientific principles that underpin commercial animal productivity.
2. Explain basic principles of livestock physiology (i.e. reproductive endocrinology)
3. Carry out safe laboratory analytical procedures to determine nutrient values of feeds.

My specilization in the field of Zoology is primarily related to environmental biology. Currently my research area is based on phytoremediation and vermicomposting . My academic career drove me to be an enthusiastic faculty and to reach out to each and every learner for their allround development.
