Course Syllabus

Module 1:Raw water volume Calculation, Design of Septic Tank and sewerage drain Design(21hrs)

Checking PH,BOD,DO,COD,TSS,TDS,TS value in laboratory, Calculation of the volume of sewerage water coming from different Buildings. Design of septic tank taking the future population projection.Design of sewerage drain and chamber .

Project Phase 1 : Design of Septic tank and sewerage drain.

Module 2: STP plant Design and its Running process(30hrs)

Design the plan of STP and its capacity. Design and know the process of screening, grit removal, oil and grease removal process, design the sedimentation tank, aeration tank , storage tank , sand filter and carbon filter.

Project Phase -2 : Design of STP plant

Module 3 : Use of treated sewerage water in Greening(9hrs)

Knowledge about Nualgi and its treatment process . Rechecking the vale of PH,BOD,DO,COD,TSS,TDS,TS of treated water, Know the process of sludge removal and its management, Reuse of treated sludge and treated sewerage water in greening.

Project phase -3 : Reuse of sludge sewerage treated water in greening.
