Course Objectives

1 -To offer a clear overview of the recent trend in 3d modeling and 3d printing techniques of different components used in day to day life as well as in the field of mechanical engineering.

2 -To identify the importance of 3D modeling and3D printing in engineering.

3 -To study alternative economical and effective ways of manufacturing components by various Non-traditional Machining Processes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Learning Outcomes

1 -Knowledge about designing techniques and processes of making different components/parts, machines as well as drafts.

2 -Skill of testing, designing and improving the component and assembly design.

3 -Identify different Non-traditional machines and its working principle.

4 -Choose suitable non-traditional machine by identifying different man-machine-material limitations.

Design of Basic yet useful things:

PRACTICE 1:  Pot – Cylindrical, Conical, Box Type (Flexible Size)

PRACTICE  2:  Corrugated Sheet – Wave , Square, Trapezoidal(Flexible Size)

Design of Standard Equipment’s:
