  • The learner can also know all the possibilities of designing different EV ECUs.
  • It can increase the skill of the learner so he/she can able to set up his own EV Centre.

Module 1 -INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES CONTROL UNIT

  • Past, Present & Features of EV
  • Current Major Issues
  • Recent Development Trends
  • EV ECU Concept
  • Types of EV-ECU

Module 2-CPU SELECTION AS PER THE EV

  • Different CPU specifications.
  • CPU programming.
  • CPU interface with different analog and digital sensors.
  • How to select different CPU’s for different EV’s.

Module 3-POWER DRIVER CIRCUIT

  • Design of power driver circuit.
    • Power driver IC’s.
    • Wave analysis of the power driver IC.
    • Controlling the power output as per the MOSFET drives.
  • Design and testing of power driver circuit.
    • Making a PCB for power driver circuit.
    • Testing the PCB and used components.
    • Testing the high & low pulse of power output circuit.

Module 4-SELECTION OF MOSFET

  • Understanding the MOSFET drive.
  • Comparison of EV motors & selecting the MOSFETS
  • Checking the triggering of MOSFET as per the cycle

Module 5-DESIGN OF 12 VOLT BUCK CONVERTER

  • Assembling of 12 volt buck convertor circuit.,
  • Running and testing the circuit as per the specification.,

Module 6-FINAL ASSEMPLING OF ECU

  • Assembling of CPU, Driver IC, buck convertor and power circuit.,
  • Running and testing the circuit without load & with load.
