Course Objectives

Understand fundamentals of programming such as variables, conditional and iterative,execution, methods, etc.

Understand fundamentals of object-oriented programming in Java, including defining classes, invoking methods, using class libraries, etc.

Be aware of the important topics and principles of software development.

Learning Outcomes

Have the ability to write a computer program to solve specified problems.

 

Be able to use the Java SDK environment to create, debug and run simple Java programs.

 

Using JDBC server and connection with SQL for creating both front end and back end of the project.

Course Syllabus

MODULE-I (16 Lectures):-

 

 

Java Use of Objects, Array and Array List class JavaScript Data types, operators, functions, control structures, events and event handling.

MODULE-II (15 Lectures):-

 

 

JDBC Fundamentals, Establishing Connectivity and working with connection interface,Working with statements, Creating and Executing SQL Statements, Working with Result Set Objects.

 

MODULE-III (12Lectures):-

 

JSP Introduction to Java Server Pages, HTTP and Servlet Basics, The Problem with Servlets,The Anatomy of a JSP Page, JSP Processing, JSP ApplicationDesign with MVC, SettingUp the JSP Environment, Implicit JSP Objects, Conditional Processing, DisplayingValues, Using an expression to Set an Attribute, Declaring Variables and Methods, ErrorHandling and Debugging, Sharing Data Between JSP Pages, Requests, and Users,Database Access.

 

MODULE-IV (6 Lectures):-

 

 

Java Beans ,Java Beans Fundamentals, JAR files, Introspection, Developing a simple Bean, Connecting to DB.
