Course Name: Super Critical Carbon Dioxide Plant Operation

Code (Credits): ( 0-2-2)

Course Description

  1. Short descriptionSupercritical fluid extraction (SFE) is the process of separating one component (the extractant) from another (the matrix) using supercritical fluids as the extracting solvent. It is one of the most popular green extraction widely accepted in the industries. This certificate course aims to provide the trainees a hands-on practical experience of this extraction method along with the most updated knowledge on the SCFE technique.
  2. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of organic chemistry.
  3. Duration of the course: One-month online theory class and 50 hours practical in PKD Campus or collaborative work with our Industrial Partners.
  4. Key highlights
  • Faculty: Dr. Preetha Bhadra, Dr. Rosy Mallik, Dr. Pradipta Banerjee
  • The certificate will be issued jointly by Gram Tarang Foods Pvt. Ltd. & Centurion University of Technology and Management.
  • Job Opportunity: In Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Cosmetics Industry.
  • Contact with Industry Personnel: Mr. Babu Shankar, MD, Gram Tarang Foods Pvt. Ltd.; [email protected]
