Program outcome
PO1 : Knowledge Enhancement : Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of essential facts, concepts, principles and theories relating to forestry.
PO2 : Professional Enhancement : Understanding the value and processes of life-long learning and professional development.
PO3 : Entrepreneurship Skills : Understanding the processes of setting up and managing viable business ventures.
The objective of the course is
To Identify the tree species and the uses of NTFP.
To Gain knowledge about the choice of tree species for agro forestry purpose.
To Estimate the quantity of timber / firewood/NTFP(volume/weight) and other forest resources by using height and volume measuring equipments.
To Manage the forest nursery by applying nursery techniques.
To Apply the required cultivation practices for different tree species.
CO1- Course gives a wide spread knowledge of identification and value assessment
of tree.
CO2-Choice of tree for Agroforestry purpose and forest nursery
CO3-Choice of Required cultivation practices for different tree species.
.
