Mr. M. Viswanath is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture, M. S. Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi campus, Odissa. He has completed B.Sc. from College of Horticulture, Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University, A.P. Pursued M.Sc. (Horticulture) from College of Horticulture, Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University, A.P. and carried out research work on topic entitled "Effect of different edible coatings and storage temperatures on quality and shelf life of ready-to-eat arils of pomegranate cv. Bhagwa packed in clamshells" under the guidance of Dr. B. Srinivasulu Principal scientist & Head, Fruit Research Station, Ananthapurum, A.P. He completed his Ph.D in the Dept. of Fruit Science (Horticulture) and under took research work entitled "Standardization of regeneration from immature male flower buds of banana cv. Karpura Chakkarakeli (AAB) and assessment of Genetic Fidelity" under the guidence of Dr. B.V.K. Bhagavan Principal scientist & Head, Banana research station, Kovvur. He has qualified with ICAR-ASRB-NET with 66.60% accuracy. Published research articles and book chapters in national and international journals and also attended many national and international conferences.
